Terms of Service

Last updated: October 31, 2026 · Version 1.0

Summary
  • You must be 18 or older and have a single account.
  • You buy the right to use the files, not the files themselves: sharing, reselling or publishing the STL, 3MF or SCAD files is not allowed.
  • Selling printed parts requires a commercial license, included only with an active subscription.
  • Credits are not money, are not transferable and follow the validity rules of your plan or pack.

This summary does not replace the full text below.

This is a translation of the Portuguese version. If there is any conflict, the Portuguese version prevails, except where the mandatory law of your country requires otherwise.

Current status: payments, subscriptions and paid credits are not yet active on STLzilla. The rules about them below apply once billing is enabled; until then, nothing is charged.

1. Who we are and acceptance

STLzilla (stlzilla.com) is a platform of 3D printable models, offering ready-made files and parametric models you can customize in the browser (Studio). The service is provided by Gustavo Zenedin Cruz, a Brazilian sole proprietorship registered under CNPJ 41.116.858/0001-01, based in R. Pres. Carlos Cavalcanti, 970 – São Francisco, Curitiba, PR 80510-040, Brazil (“STLzilla”, “we”).

By creating an account, customizing, downloading or buying on STLzilla, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Model Licenses and the Refunds and Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

3. The service

4. Credits, subscriptions and payments

5. Licenses and downloads

Each download grants a personal or commercial license, as described in the Model Licenses. The license type is recorded in your history. You can download purchased files again from “My downloads” while your account is active.

6. Intellectual property

The models, parametric source code, images, photos, text, brand and software of STLzilla belong to Gustavo Zenedin Cruz or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark law and international treaties. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

Unless we authorize it in writing, you may not:

7. Content you upload

When you upload text, images or logos to customize a model, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights and that they do not infringe third-party rights (such as trademarks, characters or people’s likeness). You grant us only the permission needed to process that content and generate your file. We do not use it for any other purpose.

8. Prohibited conduct

9. Use of printed parts

Parts are produced by you, with your own equipment. Assess whether a part is suitable for its intended use. Do not use printed parts for safety-critical, medical, structural or load-bearing applications, or in contact with food or small children, without proper testing and materials.

10. Liability

We work to keep the service available and the files correct, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance or third-party failures. If a paid file is defective, we will fix it, regenerate it or return the credits used.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or losses arising from printing, assembling or using the parts. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that mandatory consumer law grants you.

11. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where possible. A chargeback suspends the account until it is resolved. Unused credits on accounts closed for breach are not refunded, unless the law requires it.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version and date are shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced by email or on the website with reasonable notice; continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept them.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Consumers resident in Brazil may bring claims in the courts of their domicile. For other users, the courts of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the user’s country of residence.
